LS AURA BLOCKS.

LS AURA BLOCKS utilises the most advanced materials and build techniques, mostly used in the aerospace industry to create blocks that are the best and most reliable in the world.

Our AURA Blocks are built from Carbon, Vectran and UHMWPE fibers. Customized termination, to fit any application.

Carbon Fiber and Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). These fibers have been exclusively chosen to provide product longevity that exceeds 15 years.

Our LS Aura Blocks are uniquely designed for simple ease of use, robustness and are exceptionally lightweight.  The blocks feature a central pin, which locks the fiber loop in place, allowing for easy attachment to deck and mast fittings, without the need for an additional lashing. The oversized central lashing hole, allows for easy attachment of additional loops for added purchase configurations. 

The range of Aura blocks consist of five sizes ranging from 40mm to 100mm sheave diameters.

The two-part bearing system consists of a fiber polymer plain bearing, offering high load support, with minimum rolling friction.

The sheave side loads are supported with dual Torlon ball bearing rings, that provide a smooth low friction block, with exceptional load carrying capabilities.
